Firstly, I am going to take a small amount of time to explain the site, and what it is here for.
I will be attempting to build a complete and honest, non-biased review styled site. Most sites currently have a review system, but many are reviewed by biased purchasers, or younger magicians who do not perform these effects on the public, more to their family, making the review worthless to a working magician. I want to change this. The Reviews do not just stop at effects or tricks though. Effects, Cards, Local Magic Shops, Lectures, Performances. These will all be reviewed completely, and in some cases, this is where you will help. I have selected several magicians from various means to help build these reviews, and over the next few weeks they will slowly be uploaded onto the site. There is one big difference with our reviews though, especially with the effects and cards. They will be watched, practised, used, performed, and put under tough tests over weeks to get the very best review. A completely honest unbiased review will be given, with the opportunity for the creator to reply to this review, and together for us all to work together to improve it in any way possible. There is also a section for artists, this will also be updated with the more 'Official Artists' but you have the opportunity to upload a small profile on yourself. Possibly the best part about The Magic Review will be the 'You, Reviewed' section. There are many creative magicians out there, who do not know how to get their effect onto the market, or find it very difficult. This is where we help, send through your ideas, or video, or gimmick and get it trialled and tested by our professional magicians, with feedback provided. If the idea is up to a high standard, we will work with you to get the item onto the market. There is much more to be developed and updated onto TMR, so make sure you sign up, bookmark the site, and look out for updates. Opening Competition: All you have to do, is sign up to the site. No cost to you involved at all. One Entry PER PERSON. Please do not make multiple accounts, as IP's/Emails/Names will all be checked and users Banned.
